What is the disinfection of surfaces by air?
The Air Way Disinfection (A.W.D.) lies in placing a disinfectant all over the surfaces of the room to disinfect through the microdiffusion of the mentioned disinfectant by means of a device designed for such use.

Essential complement of the cleaning
The Disinfection of surfaces by Air Way (A.W.D.) is a complementary technique to the process of cleaning. It increases its effects, especially in those areas where the risk of infection is high (operating theatres, ICU's, emergency rooms, severe burn units, childbirth room, psychiatric hospitals, rooms, autopsy units, haemodialysis units, field hospitals, etc.).

On the other hand, it is true that only the cleaning is insufficient (we cannot reach certain areas: ceilings, corners, etc.), since almost never the theoretically predicted results are obtained in their practical application, due to multiple reasons:

  • ignorance and misuse of the products: from time to time, incompatible products are used together.
  • errors in the products dosage.
  • the rapidity that the cleaning operations are carried out, involves that such operations are limited only to floors, leaving without any kind of sanitary treatment the remainder surfaces.
The Air Way Disinfection allows the emitted disinfectant, in a quick and economic way, to reach those areas that are not usually cleaned, even the most difficult to reach areas (grille of the air- conditioning, inaccessible parts of the furniture, etc.).
